A seed settled in my mind…on lunch break while I was chewing my ham and lettuce filled pita.  I saw a large white buffalo skull with many paper cut birds.  Pops of the bright red Indian Paintbrush graced the skull.  I rushed up to my studio and began sketching. This was the first of two visions which would become the series, "Where Land and Sky Meet".

Swallows are swift in flight and buffalo are strong. Both have qualities that make a modern day warrior great. In this piece, the two come together and live in harmony amongst the Indian paintbrush.
